NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD) Commissioner Stuart McWhorter will join Enchem America Inc. officials in Brownsville tomorrow, Tuesday, June 27, 2023, to announce the company’s $152.5 million investment in Tier 4, At-Risk Haywood County.
Through the project, Enchem will establish its second U.S. manufacturing operations at the I-40 Advantage Industrial Park where the company will manufacture electrolytes for electric vehicle (EV) batteries as well as other EV battery-related services. The project will create 190 new jobs in Brownsville.
