NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING
Please note that the Haywood County Board of Zoning Appeals will meet to consider a Use Permit for a proposed solar farm located north of Fulton Road near the Lauderdale County line. The property is currently owned by the Walker Revocable Trust et. al. The property consists of four parcels Tax Map 44 Parcel 13.01, Tax Map 61 Parcel 10, Tax Map 61 Parcel 5.01 and Tax Map 61 Parcel 5 totaling 696.4 acres.
Said hearing will be held pursuant to the provisions of the Haywood County Board of Zoning Appeals bylaws and will take place on November 19, 2024, beginning at 5:00 P.M. at the Haywood County Courthouse in the upstairs courtroom.
Any interested party is invited to appear before the Board and be heard in objection or in favor of the amendment thereof. Said proposed resolution are available for public examination in the County Mayor’s Office, and the Building Official’s Office.
